The  Starkey Neuro Processor is designed to mimic the function of the human auditory system. Artificial intelligence allows the hearing aid to “learn” and adapt the sound according to the environment, boosting the hearing aid's sound processing. The processor is not only the smallest of its family. It is also faster and more powerful than all previous models. The Starkey Genesis AI 16 MRIC R features 16 programming channels, 10dB wind noise reduction, and 8dB speech in noise reduction. These hearing aids include industry-leading features such as wellness tracking, Fall Detection and notification of contacts without any additional subscription or fee, and a fast charging option. Another impressive feature common to all Genesis models is the Edge Mode. Edge Mode is an AI-powered feature that analyses the environment and adjusts the performance in real-time to improve how the user hears speech and provides real-time translation and transcription. The Starkey Genesis AI 16 MRIC R  doesn’t offer transcription, tap control or translation like more advanced models, but it features Edge Mode and assistant.  

All Starkey Genesis AI hearing aids have Bluetooth connectivity, which you can use with iPhones and Android. iPhone users can make hands-free calls. For Android users, the application streams calls to the hearing aids. The My Starkey app provides users seamless wireless control over their hearing aids. Within the app, users can easily adjust settings, track their devices, monitor their fitness, and other features. One capability which stands out is the impressive Edge Mode. This feature goes beyond the real-time optimisation of the hearing aid; it also includes the “Fall Alert” function that detects sudden falls and sends an alert to a designated contact in your phone without any additional fee or subscription necessary. The application also has a handy “Find My hearing aids” feature for device tracking.
